How I maintain my wooden cutting board?

Wooden cutting boards have several advantages:

1. When you cut on a wooden board, the cutting lines do not close up. Small scraps don't get stuck, which prevents the growth of germs that could potentially be harmful in your food.

2. Easy to maintain, just follow the maintenance steps below.

3. Can be used as a presentation board for your most beautiful recipes.

When you buy an Arbolcuisine cutting board, you want to keep it in your kitchen for a long time, so it is important to know how to care for it .

Arbol cutting boards are made from the following species: Cherry, Maple and Walnut. You will be able to choose the style of board and wood species that suit you and enjoy good times in the kitchen for many years!

We suggest a three-step maintenance method:

Step 1: CLEAN

Start cleaning the board with a brush and a mild dishwashing liquid.

Scrub and rinse with warm water.

Step 2 - DRY

Wipe your board with a dishcloth and let it air dry, ideally standing upright so that it dries evenly on all sides.

To keep your board looking good and protecting it, apply an Arbolcuisine maintenance wax. Apply a thin layer of wax to the entire surface with a clean cloth. You can repeat this operation as often as you like! For regular use, we recommend applying the wax approximately every 2-3 weeks.
